The short version
- We use one essential cookie — it keeps you logged in. That's it for our own cookies.
- No analytics trackers, no fingerprinting, no third-party ad cookies inside your dashboard. Ever.
- Checkout is handled by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention.
- If we advertise consigner.ai, our public marketing pages may carry an ad-measurement pixel — never your logged-in dashboard.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember things between visits — like the fact that you're logged in. Similar technologies (pixels, local storage) work the same way; we cover them all here and call them “cookies” for short.
2.Cookies we set

Essential cookies can't be switched off through a consent banner because the Service can't function without them — but they're only set when you actually log in or create an account.
3.Third-party cookies
- Stripe (checkout & billing pages): our payment processor sets its own cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) to process payments securely and prevent fraud. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Advertising pixels (marketing pages only): when we run ads for consigner.ai, our public marketing pages (like the homepage) may include an ad-measurement pixel — for example Meta's — so we know whether our ads work. These are never present inside your logged-in dashboard and are never connected to your business data. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Meta ad preferences or via your platform's ad settings.
We do not use third-party analytics trackers, session-recording tools, or data-broker pixels.
4.How to control cookies
- Browser settings: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies (look under Privacy or Site Settings). Blocking the essential cookie will log you out and prevent login.
- Ad pixels: use the ad-preference controls linked above, browser tracking protection, or a content blocker.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: since we don't run cross-site tracking, there's nothing extra for these signals to disable on our end — you already get the maximum setting.
